Who to vote fore
I've just been reading John's blog, within which he suggested trying a little test to see if your in fact going to vote the right way this next election. Now having voted labour the last twice, like many others I'm fed up with being hammered by the tax man, let alone some there other policies. Not wanting to bore anyone, the long and the short is that this time I thought I'd vote conservative. However, the tool seems to think I'm more liberal .... not sure on that one.
Who should I vote for?
Your expected outcome:
ConservativeYour actual outcome:
Labour -7 | |
Conservative -27 | |
Liberal Democrat 28 | |
UK Independence Party -15 | |
Green 1 |
You should vote: Liberal Democrat
The LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.
