The week thus far

As another week draws to a close, I thought I'd highlight some of what I've been up to. Last weekend is easy to summerise, alcohol to help cellerbrate Suzanne's birthday (many happy returns Suzanne) and star wars. I still can't decide if I liked star wars or not..... maybe this means I need to see it again?

Monday went climbing as normal, Tuesday trotted off to see the Super Fury Animals with John and Gav over in Coventry. Gig was very good, topped off with an energy fueled rendition of 'Man don't give a fuck' - all in an enjoyable evening. However, I didn't think much to the support act Brave Captain, the lead singer seemed more intent on showing us his shiny new laptop ... nice as it was, not really of interest to me. Anyways no matter, the night was topped of with a beer and very rough vegi burger from some hole in the wall in the town centre.

The last couple of days have been spent in London village. In the company's infinite wisdom, commuting daily is a better use of time and money than a hotel ... so who I am I to argue. The exception to this is that fact that I spent 6 hours stuck in traffic on the m40 yesterday!!!!. Anyways both occasions afforded me the opportunity to scrounge tea from an old friend who lives in Bicester ... girls always sacome to travel woes :)

anyways .... better do some work before the bank holiday catches up with me ..

PB today :)

Well not blogged for a while, so I thought I start with an update on how the training is going. This is especially relevant given that all my hard work is going to be undone, when I jump on the plane to Japan next week ... But no matter I'll face the music, after all the beers on my return.

In short training is going well ... Through the use and guidance of you are what eat my weight has stabalised @ around 14 and half stone. This is great news as it has been up and down like a yo yo for years now .... On the fitness front, I achieved a personal best for today's time trial, smashing my previous PB by a massive 4 minutes... Combine this with my 10km time leveling out at 47 minutes and things look good.

So pat on the back for me, off to climbing now to continue the good work. The six pack however is still in development :)
